MMA recycled from PLEXIGLAS® shows high purity. It is not noticeable that the material has already been used, which is the big difference as compared with other recycled materials. Paper, for example, assumes a greyish color after recycling. The purity of recycled MMA is 99 percent, very close to that of the original MMA. This is enabled by a special chemical recycling process that filters out all additives.
